Job description
Customer Development Representative We are seeking a Customer Development Representative to support our manufacturer representatives, Regional Sales Managers, and Technical Solutions team throughout the quoting and sales process. This role will serve as a primary internal point of contact for representatives, helping manage project requests from initial inquiry through quotation, follow-up, and order transition.
The ideal candidate will have strong communication, organization, and customer service skills with the ability to manage multiple opportunities and build strong working relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Manage customer and representative requests throughout the quoting process, ensuring information is complete, organized, and communicated effectively. Serve as a key point of contact for manufacturer representatives, providing timely project updates and coordinating requests with internal teams. Maintain sales opportunities and project information within the CRM system and proactively follow up on outstanding quotations.
Partner with Regional Sales Managers and Technical Solutions to support customer needs, identify opportunities, and provide a positive overall customer experience. Coordinate projects through quotation, revisions, follow-up, and transition into the order process.
Qualifications
& Requirements: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Prior experience in customer service, sales support, inside sales, account coordination, or a similar customer-facing role . Strong written and verbal communication skills. Excellent organization, attention to detail, and follow-through.
Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and customer requests simultaneously. Strong customer-focused mindset with the ability to develop and maintain professional relationships. Comfortable learning technical products, terminology, and applications. Strong problem-solving skills and sense of ownership.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working in a manufacturing, commercial HVAC, construction, or industrial environment . Experience supporting manufacturer representatives, distributors, or other channel-based sales organizations. Experience with CRM or ERP systems. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
