• We are positive, courageous and deliver at the leading edge Your Role As a Data Engineer at PALO IT, you will be instrumental in designing and implementing data-driven solutions that support our clients in making informed, strategic decisions. You will leverage cutting-edge technologies to develop robust, scalable data pipelines and infrastructure, ensuring seamless data access and processing.
• Design, build, and maintain data pipelines using Google Cloud Platform (GCP), ensuring efficient flow and transformation of data.
• Develop API services using Python FastAPI to facilitate data access and integration with various applications.
• Manage and optimize databases using Firestore and Google Cloud SQL, ensuring data integrity, availability, and performance.
• Utilize Google Agent Development Kit (ADK) to integrate AI functionalities into data processes and enhance automation.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, utilizing Claude Code for improved documentation and knowledge sharing.
• Use GitHub (PR-based workflows) and GitHub Projects for project management, version control, and collaborative development.
• Monitor data integrity and performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement robust solutions to enhance data workflows.

Who You Are

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Engineering, or a related field. - 3+ years of experience in data engineering or a similar role, with a strong focus on building data pipelines.
• Proficient with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services and data tools, including Firestore and Google Cloud SQL.
• Solid programming experience in Python, with demonstrated proficiency in FastAPI for building APIs.
• Familiarity with the Google Agent Development Kit (ADK) and Claude Code for enhancing data processes.
• Experience collaborating in a Git-based environment, specifically with PR-based workflows on GitHub.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering quality solutions.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, agile environment.
