Role Overview Based out of our Alice, TX location, the Field Mechanic will be responsible for the comprehensive repair and maintenance of various utility equipment, heavy trucks, and aerial assets.

You will be responsible for keeping our field operations running smoothly while collaborating closely with various job site crews and management.

Key Responsibilities

Execute a large variety of repairs, diagnostics, and maintenance on hydraulic systems, diesel and gas systems, electrical systems, brake systems, and all related components to aerial equipment and boom trucks. Fabrication & Tooling: Perform basic fabrication tasks as needed and maintain a personal set of professional-grade tools.

Safety & Compliance: Observe and maintain excellent safety standards across all repair and maintenance activities in a smoke and drug-free environment. Field Support & Travel: Travel to various job sites as needed to service equipment, remaining flexible to work overtime and some weekends. Continuous Improvement: Proactively learn about company equipment, take complete ownership of the position, and apply creative, self-motivated problem-solving to equipment challenges.

Qualifications

& Requirements Experience Level: Minimum 5 years of heavy mechanic experience in a related field.

Education

& Credentials: High school diploma or equivalent; CDL is a plus. Technical Skills: Proven ability to diagnose and repair hydraulic, diesel, gas, electrical, and brake systems, alongside aerial equipment components and basic fabrication skills. Core Competencies: Self-motivated learner who takes initiative, thinks outside the box, and demonstrates strong attention to detail and safety compliance.

Location & Licensing Requirements: Valid driver’s license, willingness to travel and work overtime/weekends, and ability to meet physical demands (lifting up to 75 pounds, working in awkward positions, standing on varied surfaces, and climbing).
