This position announcement will be used to fill a full-time, permanent Buyer IV vacancy in the Office of Central Services with Anne Arundel County Government.  This is specialized and advancing professional work in large-scale purchasing and contracting for materials, supplies, equipment, and services.  Nature and Variety of Work Work involves responsibility for supervising and coordinating commodity group teams, conducting research as a preliminary to and basis for negotiations of contracts, and the analysis and development of improvements in bid invitations, specifications, and other features of procurement practice.
