Freeman & Grey - Bar Team - Part time

The Business Freeman & Grey is a relaxed gastropub that prides itself on being the place to go for an after work beer and the best place to meet your friends on a Saturday night. We strongly believe in handcrafted pizza, cold beer and good times. We love people and we love keeping busy - our nights are filled with quizzes, functions and cocktails!

The Role This is your chance to unlock the drinks master within! This position requires you to pour and whip up drinks for our clientele, maintaining the highest of standards creating memorable and charming experiences. Your main responsibilities include: Greeting (and charming!) customers Making, serving and selling cocktails, coffees, shots, bottled, mixed drinks and other alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages Setting up the bar for busy periods and completing the opening / closing systems including cleaning and maintaining bar service areas Promoting products and upselling Washing glassware, arranging bottles and glasses as well as tapping kegs and attaching supply lines Handling customer payments Assisting the sales manager as required Skills / Experience We are looking for an energetic, flexible and hard working candidate.

You have 1-2 years hospitality experience and are looking to take things to the next level. When starting out with us you will become and pro on the bar and/or floor and if willing and keen we will progress you into the management team and take you through all the training required. You also: Have a passion for making drinks and experiences Have a professional approach to handling different situations Have a fun personality!
