About the role
Ensure day-to-day General Accounting activities within the Global Shared Services team. Assist with month-end close and balance sheet review processes. Process supplier invoices and other accounting transactions accurately and on a timely basis. Support MedAire management towards achieving KPI and strategic objectives.
Key responsibilities
Prepare and post journal entries, maintain GL accounts and supporting schedules, and ensure accounting record completeness and accuracy. Month-End & Financial Close: Perform balance sheet reconciliations, resolve exceptions, support month-end and year-end close activities, and assist with balance sheet analysis. Invoice Processing (AP): Process supplier invoices accurately and on time, ensure proper account coding, and resolve invoice queries.
Ad-Hoc & Operational Support: Assist with special finance tasks, support process improvements, and provide cross-coverage/backup for team members.
Required Skills
and Knowledge Good knowledge of fundamental accounting concepts, practices and procedures. Knowledge of General Ledger and month-end close processes. Proficient in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP). Strong attention to detail and accuracy with good analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and teamwork skills, including good command in both spoken and written English.
Ability to work independently and tight deadlines without compromising on quality. Possess sense of urgency & strong commitment in performing task assign and be accountable for all duties and responsibilities. Possess a positive mind-set to be able to work in fast paced and dynamic environment. Required Work Experience Degree or Diploma in Accounting / Finance or equivalent.
Minimum 2-3 years of accounting or finance experience. Prior experience in n General Ledger, Accounts Payable, or month-end close activities preferred. Shared Services or multinational company experience is an advantage. Professional with high level of integrity. Takes great initiative, possess strong commitment, hardworking and responsible.
Able to work under pressure and tight deadlines.
