
Job description
Under limited supervision, drive a shuttle vehicle on GBMC’s campus on fixed routes, on-demand, and other transport related services. Provides patients and visitors with knowledge and assistance in wayfinding and organizational information to ensure a timely arrival to their destination. Provides daily vehicle inspections and reporting in accordance with departmental policy and procedure.
Assist with event parking when needed. Performance other duties as assigned.
Education
High School diploma or GED equivalent Experience One year working experience and one year of driving experience Skills Professional character with all patients, visitors, and staff Exceptional customer service skills Ability to positively engage with patients and visitors to ensure a positive experience Ability to exercise initiative and sound judgment and to react with discretion under varying conditions Licensures, Certifications Valid Driver’s license which must be maintained throughout employment CPR Certification within 90 days of employment that must be maintained throughout employment Physical Requirements Prolonged periods standing, sitting, and walking Occasionally lift or carry up to 20 pounds Working Conditions Ability to work and drive in the elements of heat, cold, rain, and snow.

- Acknowledge, greet, and welcome patients/visitors
- Assists patients/visitors with valet needs
- Ensure vehicle is maintained and cleaned daily
