Job description
Responsibilities
Provide analytical support to install hardware and software on ships. Support installation planning for new construction ships, in-service ships receiving upgrades, and ships having systems removed and replaced during depot maintenance cycles. Review installation manuals and drawings. Participate in a variety of reviews and meetings, including PARM reviews, Technical Interchange Meetings, and Interface Working Groups.
Aid in preparing Combat System Certification documentation. Prepare SPM PARM Review briefing materials and participate in Installation Working Group meetings. Utilize knowledge of Close-In Weapon Systems (CIWS) and Rolling Airframe Missile (RAM) to execute required installation.
Requirements
U.S. Citizen with an Active Secret Clearance. Minimum of 3 - 5 years of relevant experience in installation supporting the USN. Experience managing updates to US Fleet missile installations to include Rolling Airframe Missile (RAM). Hands-on knowledge and experience to serve on the In-Service Installation planning team.
Minimum 3+ years of experience supporting Navy combat systems, C5ISR, or shipboard system installation and modernization programs. Maintain a comprehensive database tracking installation location, schedule and estimated and actual installation costs. Demonstrated ability to review engineering drawings, technical manuals, and installation documentation.
Proven experience preparing technical briefings, supporting certification efforts, and participating in cross-functional technical review boards and working groups.
