You will provide DSEAR expertise across a major nuclear construction project environment. You will ensure compliance, reduce risk, and support safe operational delivery. 🔥 Act as DSEAR subject matter expert supporting contractors and project teams 🧪 Conduct, review, and approve DSEAR assessments across site activities ⚠️ Identify fire and explosion risks, implementing effective mitigation controls 📊 Maintain legal registers ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements 📋 Provide technical guidance on DSEAR regulations and best practices 🏗️ Support development and implementation of DSEAR policies and procedures 🔍 Review contractor assessments ensuring consistent compliance across the site 🤝 Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including safety and assurance functions 📈 Deliver KPIs, objectives, and performance reporting aligned to project goals 🚨 Support incident investigations and promote continuous safety improvements Required Skills and Qualifications 🎓 Degree in engineering, fire safety, or related discipline 📜 DSEAR certification such as Comp.
Ex or NEBOSH qualifications 🏭 Experience within COMAH, manufacturing, labs, or fuel environments 🛠️ Experience auditing explosion-protected equipment and installations 🧠 Strong knowledge of DSEAR regulations and ATEX directives 💥 Understanding of explosion science and ignition control principles 📐 Ability to interpret technical engineering drawings confidently 🗣️ Strong communication skills simplifying complex technical information 🔥 Knowledge of fire safety systems across complex construction environments ⚖️ Strong analytical skills with structured and pragmatic problem-solving 🌟 Why Apply?
