General Statement of Duties: The Community Service Specialist serves as the Public Information Officer (PIO) and manages community outreach, crime prevention programs, and public relations for the Sheriff’s Office. This position is responsible for maintaining positive community relations, overseeing the Neighborhood Watch and Ranch Watch programs, conducting VIN inspections, managing the Sheriff’s Yearly Report, and assisting with policy updates and public safety initiatives.
