Warehouse Assistant- Inbound Fresh

Warehouse Assistant- Inbound Fresh Babylonstoren is looking for a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Assistant to support daily warehouse, storage and shipping operations. The successful candidate will assist with receiving goods, managing stock, preparing orders and maintaining a safe and organised working environment.

Responsibilities

Receive, inspect and unload incoming shipments. Check and verify goods against purchase orders. Move and place products on shelves or designated racks. Pick and pack the correct items for customer orders. Load outgoing orders onto delivery vehicles. Use barcode scanners and computer systems. Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks.

Assist with physical stock counts. Monitor and report stock levels. Keep workstations and aisles clean and free of hazards. Follow all safety procedures and wear the required protective equipment.

Requirements

and advantageous experience Previous warehouse experience will be advantageous. Experience working in a cold-chain environment will be advantageous. A valid Code 8 or Code 10 driver’s licence will be advantageous. A valid Professional Driving Permit (PrDP) will be advantageous. Ability to perform physically demanding duties.

Good organisational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
