Home Health Aide (HHA) – Fort Salonga, NY Pay: $19.65 per hour Location: Fort Salonga, NY Job Type: Home Health Care Schedule: As assigned The HHA will assist clients with daily activities while promoting their comfort, safety, dignity, and independence.

Responsibilities

Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene. Provide assistance with mobility, transfers, and ambulation as needed. Prepare meals and assist with feeding when necessary. Perform light housekeeping and laundry related to the client's care. Provide companionship and emotional support.

Remind clients to take medications as directed by their healthcare provider. Observe and report changes in the client's condition to the appropriate supervisor or care team. Follow the client's care plan and all agency policies and procedures. Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for the client. Respect client privacy, dignity, and confidentiality at all times.

Requirements

Valid New York State HHA Certificate required. Minimum 1 year of HHA experience required. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
