Job. Matching. Partner is assisting a well-established business advisory firm in their search for a Chief Operating Officer to join their team. As COO, you will provide strategic leadership across the firm's operational functions, ensuring alignment with the firm's objectives and maintaining the highest standards of operational excellence.
This is an office based role, offering a salary of up to €70K , plus benefits. Role & Responsibilities Support the Managing Partner in providing strategic leadership across the firm's operational functions Oversee the day-to-day management of HR, marketing, operations and administrative functions Lead, coach and develop the firm's support function leaders Support resource planning and capacity across support functions Oversee the firm's premises, facilities, systems and operational infrastructure Oversee internal committees, ensuring objectives and actions are delivered Drive firm-wide strategic initiatives and organisational change Monitor progress on projects and key deliverables, ensuring timely execution Identify opportunities to improve processes, systems and automation Set and monitor operational OKRs and budgets for support functions Keep Partners updated on operational matters Oversee firm-wide internal communication Ensure operational policies and procedures remain effective and up to date Act as a trusted advisor to leadership on operational risks and improvements Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders Oversee the firm's learning and development programme Promote a culture of accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement across the firm Education, Skills & Experience MBA or other postgraduate qualification is a plus 5+ years of experience within Financial Services, in a senior leadership or management role in Malta - non-negotiable Strong leadership, coaching and people management skills Fluency in English both written and spoken Excellent strategic planning, organisational and project management skills Strong commercial awareness and the ability to translate strategy into execution Ability to collaborate effectively across teams while building strong working relationships Highly organised, proactive and solutions-oriented Excellent communication, interpersonal and stakeholder management skills Ability to drive change, continuous improvement and operational excellence Adaptable and committed to continuous personal and professional development About the Role Salary of up to €70K Office based in Malta CPE Training Courses and additional continuous training Health Insurance Plan Monthly Check-Ins and Continuous Appraisals Employee Assistance Programme Discounted rates on gym memberships Corporate discounts Please apply with your detailed CV in English.
