Job Summary

The Senior HR Manager, Malaysia is responsible for leading the full spectrum of Human Resources functions to support business operations and growth. This role partners closely with local leadership to drive people strategies, ensure HR compliance efficiently. The incumbent will oversee HR business partnering, employee relations and talent management, ensuring a well-functioning, compliant, and engaged workplace.

Job Responsibilities

HR Business Partnering Partner with local leadership to align HR strategies with business goals Provide advisory support on workforce planning, organizational structure, and talent decisions Act as a trusted partner to managers on people-related matters Employee Relations & Compliance Manage employee relations, disciplinary actions, and grievance handling Ensure compliance with Indonesian labor laws, regulations, and company policies Support industrial relations matters where applicable Talent Management & Development Work with regional and COE teams to support talent acquisition and retention strategies Drive performance management processes and promote a feedback-driven culture Coach managers on employee development, performance improvement, and career progression HR Operations Oversee end-to-end employee lifecycle (onboarding, transfers, exits) Implement and maintain HR policies, SOPs, and best practices Support audit, risk, and compliance activities, ensuring timely corrective actions Employee Engagement & Culture Drive employee engagement initiatives and programs Promote a positive, inclusive, and high-performance work culture Monitor employee sentiment and recommend improvement actions Change Management & Business Support Support organizational changes, expansions, or transformation initiatives Work with leadership to ensure smooth implementation of changes Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field Minimum 8 –10 years of HR experience in MNC , with exposure to various HR functions.

Preference for HR Business Partnering background. Strong knowledge of Malaysia labor laws and HR compliance Experience in handling employee relations and operational HR matters Experience in fast-paced or growth environments preferred Key Competencies Strong business partnering and stakeholder management skills Hands-on, operationally strong with ability to multitask Good knowledge of HR processes and local regulations Problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to balance HR strategy with day-to-day execution Proficiency in HR systems (Workday) and Microsoft Office Day.
