CDL Truck Driver – Chance Materials, LLC.

Description Chance Materials, LLC, sister company to J&H Services, Inc., is seeking a reliable and safety-oriented CDL Driver to transport ready-mix concrete, aggregates, and construction materials to customer job sites. The CDL Driver plays a critical role in ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining excellent customer service, vehicle safety, and compliance with all DOT regulations.

Requirements

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Safely operate ready-mix concrete trucks, dump trucks, and other commercial vehicles as assigned. Deliver concrete, aggregates, and construction materials to customer job sites in a timely manner. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections and complete required vehicle inspection reports.

Maintain accurate delivery tickets, driver logs, and other required documentation. Monitor concrete consistency and quality during transport and delivery. Communicate effectively with dispatch, plant personnel, customers, and job site personnel. Safely maneuver vehicles in construction zones, residential areas, and confined job sites.

Clean and maintain assigned vehicles, including daily washout procedures for mixer trucks. Report vehicle maintenance concerns and equipment issues promptly. Comply with all DOT regulations, company policies, and safety procedures. Assist with plant operations and yard maintenance when delivery demands are low. Provide professional customer service and represent the company positively at all times.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Valid Class A or Class B CDL required. Current DOT Medical Certificate required. Clean driving record and ability to meet company insurance requirements. Previous ready-mix, aggregate, dump truck, or construction material hauling experience preferred. Knowledge of DOT regulations and commercial vehicle safety standards.

Ability to operate manual transmissions (if applicable). Strong communication and customer service skills. Dependable attendance and punctuality. Physical Requirements Ability to climb ladders and access truck components safely. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and perform physical tasks throughout the workday. Ability to enter and exit commercial vehicles multiple times daily.
