Job description
Role Overview The PMU Project Manager will be responsible for conceptualizing, planning, and executing skill development initiatives within the WorldSkills India Vertical of NSDC. The role requires translating policy, international competition frameworks into actionable programs aligned to Indian Skill ecosystem and ensuring end-to-end delivery across stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Program Conceptualization & Idea Development: Identify gaps, develop concept notes and DPRs, and design innovative programs to scale up IndiaSkills and WorldSkills India’s initiatives.
- Strategy Development & Planning: Develop implementation strategies, project plans, timelines, and scalable frameworks.
- End-to-End Project Execution: Manage project lifecycle from initiation to closure, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
- Monitoring & Evaluation: Track KPIs, manage MIS reporting, and conduct impact assessments.
- Financial & Compliance Management: Ensure adherence to budget, scheme norms, and audit requirements.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in relevant field; MBA preferred. Experience 4–10 years in project management / skill development / PMU roles Domain Knowledge Strong understanding of Skill India Mission, NSQF, and SSC/Awarding bodies frameworks.
