Job Summary

As a Software Developer, you will support the GIS Service Team and other ADB departments in scoping, designing, programming and deploying Web-GIS applications for ADB staff and DMCs that build on and integrate seamlessly with ADB's Spatial Data Infrastructure (SDI) / Enterprise GIS Job Description We are looking for a Software Developer who will support the migration of ESRI products (Apps, Dashboards, Story.

Maps and their data) built by projects into ADB’s Enterprise GIS. This position will be full-time and hybrid in Mandaluyong City .

What You'll Do

Familiarize with the ADB Spatial Data Infrastructure and ADB specific geopolitical environment Understand ADB’s technical processes and standards such as software engineering standards, security license to operation, and perform deployment work Under the supervision of the GIS Server Manager and Administrator, support the day-to-day operation of the Enterprise GIS IT environment (on AWS) Under the supervision of the Senior GIS Specialist, design and deliver services and applications built on ADB’s Enterprise GIS Actively participate in Agile delivery through SCRUM and Kanban operation for production system support, delivery of assigned tasks, and resolving of tickets on inquiries, glitches and service requests Attend team cadence to update status, understand day-to-day tasks and enhancements Back-up GIS Server Manager and Administrator when needed What You'll Need Required: University degree in computer science / IT or related field At least 10 years’ experience in planning and deploying Enterprise GIS IT (AWS, Azure, Kubernetes) and successfully developing related Web-GIS applications Infrastructure/IT skills and experience: Windows and Linux OS, Terraform, Datadog, AWS, Azure, Kubernetes etc.

Database and programming skills and experience: HTML & CSS, JavaScript/Angular JS, Leaflet, Python, R, C#, PostgreSQL, PostGIS, REST API, Web. Architecture, NPM, Information Security & Privacy, etc. Web-GIS skills and experience: ESRI ArcGIS Enterprise, Geo. Node, Geoserver, etc. Agile delivery experience including SCRUM, Kanban, DevOps (ADO) Working knowledge of the ADB IT environment / technology and related security regulations and guidelines is considered an advantage Fluent written and spoken English Strong verbal and written communication skills Physical Demands Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.
