Are you passionate about animal care and looking to grow your career in a supportive, community-focused environment? **Chimney Rock Animal Hospital **is seeking a dedicated Veterinary Assistant to join our compassionate team. This is a hands-on role where you’ll make a meaningful impact in the lives of pets and their families every day.
** In This Position, You Will Take an Active Role In :**
- Assisting veterinarians during exams, treatments, surgical procedures, and dentistry
- Maintaining accurate medical records and treatment documentation
- Reviewing treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions with clients clearly and compassionately
- Building positive client relationships through education, communication, and attentive service
- Maintaining clean, organized, and fully prepared exam rooms, treatment areas, and procedural spaces
** Schedule and Compensation :**
- Compensation: $12-$15 per hour, for each hour worked
- This is a** full-time **position, with a 4/10 schedule and availability needed Monday-Friday and every other Saturday.
** Full-Time Benefits Package ***
- Bonus Package: Up to $500 depending on experience

** Minimum Qualifications and Skill Set :**

1+ years of veterinary assistant, animal care, kennel, or related role preferred

Large animal experience preferred

Proficiency in the following skills:

Ability to assist with exams, treatments, and outpatient procedures

Compassionate, professional communication with clients and team members

Dependable attendance and strong work ethic

Physical ability to stand, bend, lift, and restrain patients safely throughout the workday
