Job description

SALES MANAGER PART-TIME

  • 25–30 HOURS / WEEK [Traffic Circle] — [Long Beach, CA] Position Type Part-Time, Hourly + Commission/Bonus Hours 25–30 hours per week, including some evenings and weekends Reports To General Manager / Studio Owner Location In-studio, with regular off-site community outreach ABOUT THE ROLE Cycle. Bar is looking for a motivated, people-driven Sales Manager to lead the charge on bringing new riders through our doors. This is not a behind-the-desk role — it's built for someone who loves getting out into the community, picking up the phone, and closing the sale in person. If you're energized by meeting new people, building relationships, and hitting goals, this is your opportunity to directly drive the growth of our studio. You'll own the full new-member pipeline: generating leads both inside and outside the studio, following up quickly and personally, and converting first-time riders into long-term members — all while helping drive real, month-over-month revenue growth for the studio.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Lead Generation Generate new leads both inside the studio (walk-ins, drop-ins, current member referrals) and outside the studio (local events, business partnerships, grassroots outreach, pop-ups, and community tabling). Build and maintain relationships with local businesses, gyms, and community organizations to create a steady, ongoing pipeline of new prospects.

Represent Cycle. Bar at local events, fairs, and partner locations to generate leads and introduce the brand to new riders. Sales & Conversion Make outbound calls to leads and prospects daily, with same-day follow-up on all new inquiries. Confirm and follow up with first-time riders before and after their first class to maximize show rate and conversion.

Sell memberships and packages in person, directly asking for the sale and confidently handling objections. Track every lead, call, and sales conversation accurately in Club. Ready, including notes on prospect goals and objections. Revenue & Membership Growth Own monthly new-member and revenue goals, and track progress against them weekly.

Identify and execute on upgrade and referral opportunities with current members. Support studio promotions, challenges, and events designed to drive new membership sales.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

A natural communicator who's confident on the phone and comfortable striking up conversations with new people. Previous sales experience preferred — fitness industry experience is a plus, but not required. Self-motivated and goal-oriented, with the drive to seek out new leads rather than wait for them to walk in. Comfortable with technology and willing to learn Club.

Ready (training provided). Available to work a mix of daytime hours and some evenings/weekends, including occasional off-site events. A genuine passion for fitness, wellness, and building community — you don't have to be a cyclist, but you should believe in what we do.

COMPENSATION

& PERKS Competitive hourly rate plus commission/bonus structure tied to new membership sales (details provided at interview). Free or discounted Cycle. Bar classes. A fun, high-energy team environment with real opportunity for growth. HOW TO APPLY Interested candidates should submit a resume and brief cover letter to Komail .
