Job Family: Student Work Study Department: Student Employment Supervisor: Jose Gonzalez Matos Job Title: Operations Support Intern Job Description: The Operations Support Intern will play a crucial role in supporting the administrative functions of our non-profit counseling center. This internship offers hands-on experience in client management, grant billing, and financial record-keeping.

The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and eager to contribute to our mission of providing compassionate support to families and individuals in need.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Grant Billing Support: ○ Collaborate with the finance team to prepare and review grant billing reports. ○ Assist in tracking grant expenditures and ensuring that all billing is completed in accordance with grant requirements. ○ Maintain organized records of grant-related expenses and documentation.
  2. Administrative and Operational Support: ○ Provide general administrative support, including filing, data entry, and office organization. ○ Contribute to special projects as needed, including outreach initiatives, event planning, and policy review.
  3. Learning and Development: ○ Participate in regular meetings with the Director of Operations to review progress and receive feedback. ○ Engage in professional development opportunities provided by the center to enhance understanding of non-profit operations and management.

Qualifications

● Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s degree program in Business Administration, Non-Profit Management, Social Work, or a related field. ● Federal Work-Study eligible. ● Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy. ● Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) ● Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

● Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism. ● Enthusiasm for working in a non-profit environment and commitment to supporting our mission.
