Learn more about our work: https://envidacares.org Job Summary: This position plays a critical part in ensuring organizational compliance with employment laws, payroll and benefits administration, and daily HR functions. The HR Generalist must demonstrate a high level of confidentiality, accuracy, professionalism, and effective cross-department collaboration.

This position reports to the HR Director.

Key Responsibilities

Support recruitment through attending job fairs, posting positions, and managing applicants through pre-hire background checks, onboarding processes Employee personnel and HR records; manage employee records electronically such as performance reviews, auditing for compliance, reporting data and off boarding processes in compliance with state and federal laws Process employment changes, pay adjustments, and Personnel Action Forms (PAFs) Assist with payroll processing, audits, and reporting Support HR audits, reporting, and policy updates Assist with reconciling payroll and benefits expenses with financial records Benefits administration; adding and removing employees in benefit and payroll systems Requirements Associate’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, business or related field r equired * Additional Experience may substitute on a year-for-year basis Minimum 1 year of experience in Human Resources Experience in nonprofit human resources, healthcare, Medicaid-funded, or government-regulated environments strongly preferred Payroll and benefits administration experience required; experience with Paylocity is highly desirable
