- Reward Strategy & Governance Contribute to the design, governance, and implementation of the organisation’s total rewards strategy, covering base pay, variable pay, long-term incentives, and benefits. Execute annual compensation cycles including salary review, bonus, and incentive programs; support calibration sessions to ensure fairness and internal equity. Conduct and manage job evaluation (e.g., Mercer, HAY, Towers Watson), job levelling exercises, and internal career architecture reviews.
- Performance Management Partner with HRBPs to manage the end-to-end performance management cycle (goal setting, mid-year, year-end review). Enhance and modernise performance frameworks to support a culture of accountability, agility, and continuous feedback. Develop tools, frameworks, and analytics that drive transparent, consistent, and outcomes-based performance evaluations.
- Market Intelligence & Benchmarking Monitor market trends, regulatory developments, and evolving reward philosophies to ensure the organisation remains competitive and compliant. Manage external survey providers, consultants, and benchmarking activities; interpret market data to drive informed reward decisions. Recommend innovative, flexible, and employee-centric reward solutions aligned with talent and business needs.
- Data Analytics & Insights Perform advanced compensation analytics, modelling, and scenario planning to support reward recommendations and business cases. Analyse pay equity, performance distribution, workforce trends, and reward effectiveness; generate insights for leadership. Strengthen data-driven decision-making in rewards and performance through dashboards and analytical tools.
- Ad Hoc Projects Lead or support strategic reward projects including long-term incentive program redesigns, policy reviews, and digital enablement of reward processes. Contribute to broader people strategy initiatives to support organisational transformation and future workforce needs.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications & Requirements Minimum 8+ years of experience in Total Rewards and Performance Management, ideally within financial services or similarly complex, fast-paced industries. Hands-on expertise in job evaluation, job levelling and compensation frameworks. Experience designing or supporting long-term incentive plans (LTIPs) and broad-based variable pay programs.
Solid analytical, modelling, and problem-solving skills; proficient in compensation analytics tools (e.g., Excel advanced functions, Power BI, HRIS/comp systems). Strong understanding of current and emerging reward trends, including agile rewards, personalisation, pay-for-performance, skills-based pay, and flexible benefits.
Excellent stakeholder management skills and ability to communicate complex reward topics clearly.
