Overview
We’re seeking a hands-on Mold Process Technician to safeguard mold integrity, optimize changeovers, and drive root-cause analysis with Engineering, Production, and Quality. You’ll ensure traceability, prevent contamination, and help meet production schedules in a safety-first environment.
About the Role
Maintenance Reports To: Maintenance Manager FLSA Status: Non-Exempt Key Responsibilities Receive, store, and issue materials, equipment, and other items from stockroom, warehouse, or storage yard. Document mold changes and machine adjustments, including troubleshooting and equipment maintenance. Communicate effective technical decisions to Engineering, Production, and Management to support root cause analysis and corrective actions.
Collaborate with production personnel to ensure molded components meet requirements; make adjustments as needed. Provide molded components in a timely manner to meet production schedules. Manage raw mold material to ensure traceability, shelf life, and prevent contamination. Generate documentation on mold runs for traceability and reproducibility.
Work with Quality and Manufacturing to ensure product quality aligns with company standards. Follow established procedures to maintain a clean and organized work environment. Ensure safe working practices are followed. Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent Experience: Minimum 1 year of related experience Skills Excellent verbal and written communication Active listening Coordination Critical thinking Management of personnel resources Monitoring and operation monitoring Judgment and decision making Physical Requirements & Work Environment Indoor and outdoor settings including office, manufacturing floor, and warehouse.
Exposure to loud noises, dust, dirt, and smoke may occur. Protective safety clothing may be required (appropriate clothing, shoes, gloves, goggles) as needed. Extended periods of standing or sitting; extensive use of measuring devices and machinery. Able to lift over 50 pounds. Why Join Us?
