Psychiatrist Location: Sioux City Iowa Job Type: Full-Time About Us: Our client is dedicated to providing compassionate, comprehensive mental health care to our community. The ideal candidate will provide diagnostic assessments, therapeutic interventions, and medication management for patients with a variety of mental health disorders. Your expertise will contribute to our mission of enhancing the quality of life for individuals in our care.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations to assess mental health needs. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with patients and their families. Provide psychotherapy and counseling as appropriate, using evidence-based modalities. Manage psychiatric medications, including prescribing, monitoring, and adjusting dosages as needed.

Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals, including psychologists, social workers, and nurses, to ensure holistic patient care.

Qualifications

MD or DO degree with completion of a residency in Psychiatry. Board certification in Psychiatry (or board-eligible). Valid state medical license and DEA registration. Strong diagnostic and therapeutic skills with a commitment to patient-centered care. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) preferred.
