  • NASCO is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Maintenance Clerk to support our maintenance and operations teams in Chicago. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys coordinating work orders, inventory, purchasing, vendor communication, and maintenance planning while working closely with technicians and operational leadership. This position plays a critical role in helping ensure maintenance activities remain organized, efficient, and aligned with operational and safety objectives.

Responsibilities

Create and manage maintenance work orders within Maximo Monitor preventive maintenance schedules and support maintenance planning activities Coordinate with vendors regarding parts, service requests, quotes, and delivery timelines Assist with inventory tracking, replenishment, and organization Support purchasing coordination, invoice follow-up, and PO approvals Review Daily Inspection Sheets to assist with maintenance backlog planning Maintain accurate maintenance records, reports, and documentation Support audits, inspections, and compliance-related administrative activities Work closely with maintenance technicians and leadership to support daily operations What You Need to Succeed: Previous administrative or maintenance support experience preferred Experience with Maximo or other CMMS systems preferred Strong organizational and multitasking skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Excel and Outlook Strong communication and follow-up skills Ability to work in a fast-paced industrial or operational environment Attention to detail and strong data entry accuracy Experience with inventory, purchasing, or vendor coordination is a plus What We Offer: Competitive compensation based on experience Stable full-time opportunity Professional development and training opportunities Collaborative team environment Safety-focused workplace culture Opportunity to support large-scale industrial and logistics operations Work Schedule: Full-time position Monday through Friday with occasional flexibility based on operational needs QSL and all entities under the QSL name including Sycamore Specialized Carriers are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
