SUMMARY OF POSITION: The Project Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of the customer-requested project(s). The Project Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing projects within the decided-upon budget, timeline, and scope. They will also effectively monitor and present project updates to relevant stakeholders, clients, or project team members.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Review project(s) proposal/plan to determine time frame, budget, procedures for accomplishing staffing requirements, and any other resources to ensure successful completion of a project(s). Create and execute a cost-effective plan for the project(s), develops a timeline and tracking schedule for project(s) following a logical pattern for utilization of resources.

Manage day-to-day operational aspects of a project and scope. Coordinate the work scope of vendors and contractors. Collaborate with all internal departments and vendors to ensure proper alignment to project strategy, budget, and objectives. Review the performance of vendors and contractors to make sure that all specifications of the project(s) are being followed.

Track and control project schedule and associated costs to achieve completion of project within budget and timeline. Ensure manufacturing is on schedule to meet the project schedule. Communicate project status regularly to customers. Work closely with the Director of Project Management to ensure project(s) meet expectations and report regularly on the quality and cost attributed to the project(s).

Prepare for and execute financial reporting of the status of the project(s) and communicates variances. Ensure proper administration of contracts and necessary permits and licenses. Visit the job site to consult inspection and manage, as needed. Develop key relationships with vendors and contractors and enforce accountability.

Develop a positive working relationship with all internal and external customers to facilitate a team-oriented atmosphere.

Education

Required High School Diploma / GED. Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree is highly preferred. Work Experience: Minimum of 1 - 2 years of experience as a Project Manager Assistant or equivalent related work experience. Experience in sign industry is a plus. Physical Requirements: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, talk and hear; the employee is also required to occasionally stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Work Conditions: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise level in the work environment can be loud. Safety & Security: Responsible for following all safety, and security of, areas assigned or as directed by Hilton Displays policy.

Report all accidents, however slight, to your supervisor immediately. Never leave the premises without reporting any accident that occurred during your working time. Work Hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Monday

  • Friday OR whatever hours are required to meet the business needs of the job. Flexibility to do minor traveling required. Work Attire: Each Employee should present a neat and clean appearance that will be reflective of Hilton Displays’ positive image in the community.
