Cleaning Operative – Burnley (BB11)

Location: Burnley, BB11 1TR Pay Rate: £15.00 per hour (PAYE) Hours: 13.5 hours per week Contract Type: Holiday Cover with the potential to become Temp to Perm Start Date: To be confirmed We are currently recruiting for a reliable and motivated Cleaning Operative to join our team in Burnley. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for part-time evening work, with the possibility of a longer-term position.

Working Hours Monday: 5:00pm – 7:30pm (2.5 hours) Tuesday: 5:00pm – 7:30pm (2.5 hours) Wednesday: 5:00pm – 7:30pm (2.5 hours) Thursday: 5:00pm – 7:30pm (2.5 hours) Friday: 5:00pm – 7:30pm (2.5 hours) Saturday: 3:00pm – 4:00pm (1 hour) Sunday: No work Total: 13.5 hours per week Key Responsibilities General cleaning of commercial premises Vacuuming, sweeping and mopping floors Cleaning offices, kitchens, toilets and communal areas Emptying bins and replenishing consumables Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene Following all health and safety procedures Locking and securing the premises where required Candidate Requirements Previous commercial cleaning experience preferred Reliable, trustworthy and punctual Comfortable working alone Able to act as a key holder and operate an alarm system Right to work in the UK (documentation must be presented at induction) Willing to use a telephone-based time and attendance system This is a fantastic opportunity to join a professional team with the potential for the role to become temp to perm for the right candidate.
