Job Summary
Control or operate machinery or equipment to assist with manufacturing, packaging, and other steps along a production line. May be expected to handle heavy machinery. JOB TITLE: Operator 1 Fluid Bed Main Plant Solae Pryor Oklahoma Facility ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- To know and monitor the process flow in their area.
- To understand, troubleshoot and control the process in their area using Honeywell computer systems.
- To understand and operate the equipment in their area.
- To understand and adhere to the following: a. Safety Policies b. Operating Procedures c. Good Manufacturing Practices & Product Safety Manual
- To perform necessary analytical tests and mathematical computations to accomplish above duties.
- Communicate with Supervision and other workers to insure proper flow of information.
- To maintain an orderly and clean work area which supports our sanitation guidelines. FITNESS REQUIREMENTS:
- Lift materials up to 50 pounds
- Lift material up to 50 pounds repetitively
- Push/pull material and/or adjust equipment up to 50 pounds
- Use hands to twist, grip, turn repetitively
- Climb in to and out of forklift
- Climb ladders up to 60 feet high
- Climb stairs up to 12 flights
- Work in a sitting position
- Typing using a keyboard up to 8 hours a day
