Job description

Critical Facilities Engineer Location: Stockholm, Sweden Join us in securing critical infrastructure We are looking for a highly skilled Critical Facilities Engineer to strengthen our technical operations team. This role is critical to ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and governance of electrical engineering systems and documentation supporting our mission-critical data center infrastructure.

As a Critical Facilities Engineer, you will act as the technical specialist for electrical system documentation, engineering analysis, and change management processes. You will work closely with operations teams, project teams, and management to support safe and efficient facility operations.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and quality assure Single Line Diagrams (SLDs) and electrical engineering documentation. Ensure technical documentation remains accurate, controlled, and traceable throughout the asset lifecycle. Support Change Management processes through technical reviews and documentation updates. Perform electrical system analysis and assess technical risks associated with modifications and operational changes.

Review and maintain protection settings, selectivity studies, short-circuit studies, and engineering records. Support the development of SOPs, MOPs, EOPs, risk assessments, and recovery plans. Act as a technical subject matter expert for electrical infrastructure and engineering documentation. Identify deficiencies, recommend corrective actions, and escalate risks affecting safety, compliance, and operational readiness.

Collaborate with Critical Facilities Management, Operations, Projects, and Compliance functions.

Qualifications

Required Degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems Engineering, Energy Systems, or equivalent technical qualification. Experience working with electrical power distribution systems in critical environments such as data centers, industrial facilities, utilities, or other high-availability operations. Strong understanding of low- and medium-voltage electrical systems.

Experience working with engineering documentation, drawings, and technical records. Ability to analyze technical data and provide recommendations based on engineering principles. Professional communication skills in English. Preferred Experience working with Single Line Diagrams (SLDs). Knowledge of Change Management and Configuration Management processes.

Experience with selectivity studies, protection coordination, and short-circuit analysis. Familiarity with CAD systems and document control processes. Experience from mission-critical environments.
