Job Description: Dietary Cook / Dietary Aide – Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) Prepared and served nutritious meals for residents in accordance with physician-ordered diets, facility policies, and food safety standards.
Assisted with food preparation, meal service, kitchen sanitation, and maintaining a clean, organized work environment while providing quality customer service to residents.
Key Responsibilities
Prepared meals according to standardized recipes and therapeutic diet requirements. Assisted with food preparation, portioning, tray assembly, and meal distribution. Ensured compliance with food safety, sanitation, and infection control guidelines. Cleaned and sanitized kitchen equipment, workstations, dishes, and dining areas.
Stored food properly and monitored temperatures to maintain food quality and safety. Worked closely with dietary staff and nursing personnel to accommodate residents' dietary needs and preferences. Maintained adequate inventory of food and kitchen supplies and reported shortages. Followed all state and federal regulations for long-term care dietary services.
Provided courteous, respectful service while promoting residents' comfort and satisfaction.
