Building Inspector - Hatteras

Performs intermediate technical work conducting field inspections and reinspection’s of residential, commercial, and industrial facilities for compliance with building, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and fire codes, reviewing and issuing permits, preparing and maintaining files and records, preparing reports, and related work as apparent or assigned.

Work is performed under the limited supervision of the Chief Building Inspector.
