This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys being in the kitchen, pays attention to the details and wants to keep learning.

Care about flavour Pay attention to taste, freshness and presentation. If something doesn’t look or taste right, don’t let it slide. Keep things safe Follow food safety, hygiene and allergen procedures carefully and help keep the kitchen clean, organised and safe. Know the kitchen Learn our menu, ingredients, recipes and kitchen procedures so you understand how everything comes together.
Support stock and prep Help the Kitchen Leader with stock checks, rotation, FIFO and making sure the kitchen is ready for the day ahead. Get stuck in When things get busy, jump in wherever you’re needed and help the team keep things moving. You’ll probably love working in our kitchen if... A little about experience You don’t need to know everything when you join us, we’ll teach you how we do things at Sprout. Some previous kitchen or hospitality experience is helpful, but what matters most is that you’re willing to learn, comfortable working at pace and genuinely care about good food.
