- Mine Operations Reporting to the Mine Manager, this is a key operational leadership role with statutory accountability and genuine influence. You’ll provide coverage for the Manager
- Mine Operations while leading safe, sustainable and cost-effective underground production. The opportunity Provide operational leadership and statutory coverage. Lead safe, efficient underground mining activities. Ensure compliance with legislation, company standards and site requirements. Oversee mining contractors, contracts and commercial performance. Build workforce capability, engagement and succession plans. Develop high-performing teams and strengthen operational performance.
About you
You are an experienced mining leader with strong operational and commercial capability, supported by: Significant underground mining experience. Demonstrated success leading mining operations and contractors. Experience in mine design and production scheduling. Strong contract administration and commercial governance skills.
Experience conducting contractor audits and performance reviews. A Mining Engineering qualification and First Class Mine Manager’s Certificate
