Veterinary Receptionist / Client Service Representative
Job description
Churchland Animal Clinic is seeking an outgoing Client Service Representative to serve as the welcoming face of our hospital.
In this fast-paced role, you will create exceptional client experiences, build trust through compassionate service, manage appointments and daily patient flow, handle multi-line phones and in-person interactions, process transactions, and support clients with essential information about our services. Ideal candidates are friendly, detail-oriented, highly organized, and thrive in a team-focused customer service environment.
Schedule and compensation:

Compensation: $15.00 – $18.50 per hour, for each hour worked

**Schedule: **This is a full-time position (38–40 hours/week) with flexible scheduling options, Monday–Friday and typically 1 Saturday shift per month from 7:30-2pm.

Typical shifts run 7:30 AM–6:00 PM, with extended evening availability needed on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday until 9:00 PM.

Schedule flexibility between shift lengths is available for the right candidate.

Minimum qualifications and skill set:

1+ years of experience in a customer service, reception, or client-facing role

Previous veterinary or healthcare-related front desk experience preferred

Proficiency in the following skills:

Ability to manage a multi-line phone system while assisting in-person clients

Exceptional verbal and written communication skills

Ability to provide compassionate, professional service during both routine interactions and emotionally sensitive situations

Strong organizational and time management skills

Experience scheduling appointments and coordinating patient flow preferred

Ability to accurately process payments and maintain financial records

Positive attitude and willingness to collaborate with an energetic, close-knit team

Ability to remain calm, professional, and solution-oriented during busy periods, including evening hours
