Are you an advanced practice nurse passionate about public health, health equity, and delivering high-quality medical care to underserved populations? Albuquerque Health Care for the Homeless is seeking a compassionate, collaborative, and forward-thinking 0.8 FTE Nurse Practitioner to join our integrated healthcare team.

In this role, you will provide comprehensive primary care and substance use disorder treatment through a holistic, client-centered lens. This position splits time between our permanent downtown clinic and our dynamic mobile outreach teams, meeting clients exactly where they are. With no on-call or weekend hours , this role offers a meaningful opportunity to practice deep, impactful medicine while maintaining an excellent work-life balance.

Compassion for and an understanding of the wide variety of issues for those experiencing homelessness is a must. Trauma is an underlying issue with most of our clients and we need a candidate that has a working knowledge of trauma informed care. Our clinic operates in a shared client model so the ideal candidate would be comfortable sharing clients with multiple practitioners.

Minimum Qualifications
