Summary Job Description: Medical Assistant

• Oncology Services PRN (as needed): When scheduled, shifts will be Monday through Friday. No weekends. Job Description: The Medical Assistant performs the following duties: chart preparation, medication reconciliation, vital signs, height, weight, assists in minor procedures, phlebotomy, clinic flow and any other duties as needed to assist physician.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent is required, or higher.

Preferred Qualifications

One year of medical office experience is preferred. BLS preferred upon hire, required within 90 days of hire.
