Job description
The NFI DBT House in Vernon, VT is seeking a full-time counselor to work in our residential program with adolescent females who have experienced trauma, have complex behavioral challenges and who tend to struggle in their relationships.
Responsibilities include
supervising the daily activities of our clients; providing ongoing support, guidance, and role modeling; and facilitating client improvement in the areas of personal responsibility, social skills, community living skills, and behavior. Must be able to communicate effectively, work well on a team, primarily work evening hours and weekends, have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Bachelor’s degree and previous experience working with youth with emotional/behavioral challenges preferred.
