  • Max) Supports the Human Resources mission and strategy by providing direct service to our associates in-person and over the phone, for a variety of employment needs by maintaining employee records, processing paperwork, and supporting onboarding, The HR Intern also may be assigned focus areas related to onboarding, associate services, housing administration, learning and development, recruitment, or associate appreciation programs.

Responsibilities

  • Provide guidance and support to associates in the office and over the phone, modeling the company standard for guest service and with a high level of confidentiality.
  • Execute a variety of associate requests. Resolve associate concerns and complaints. Act as a liaison, escalating high level associate concerns with management when necessary.
  • Review and respond professionally to a variety of department email inquiries regarding accessing payroll documents, international program requests, employment verification requests, employment transfers, associate concerns, department requests and more.
  • Assist with projects, as assigned by management, including, but not limited to, office supply inventory, personnel file reviews, pull employment reports from various systems, audit records for compliance.
  • Perform administrative tasks, such as mail distribution, data entry of employment data in a variety of computer systems, research inquiries of employment data following established policies and procedures. Email, copy, scan, and fax documents.
  • Interact with associates, vendors, and visitors in a professional manner. Foster a positive work environment by assisting HR team members as well as divisional partners with tasks and requests, as needed. Establish and maintain good working relationships with seasonal associates and leaders.
  • Maintain cleanliness and safety in work area and perform all duties in compliance with Six Flags safety guidelines and requirements. Report all unsafe or unusual conditions to supervision. Requisitos
  • Preferred experience in administrative support or human resources
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain accurate employee records and process paperwork efficiently
  • Ability to learn HR computer software and tools
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holiday
