Priority Screening Date: Monday, May 17, 2026 Exam #: 26/50M80/04JH SUMMARY OF POSITION The Animal Services Bureau has an opening for a regular part-time (0.5 FTE) Veterinarian at the Animal Services Center in Salinas. Reporting to the Administrator of the Animal Services Bureau, the successful candidate will provide licensed Veterinary services to the Animal Services Center 20 hours each week to include spay/neuter surgeries, veterinary care to incoming stray animals and ongoing care for shelter animals as well provide instruction to technical support staff such as a Registered Veterinary Technician and Animal Care Technicians.
