Med/Surg Registered Nurse - Days

R ESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsible for delivery of patient care through the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of medical-surgical and emergency patients ensuring safe, quality and continuity of care is maintained. Care of all types of patients on assigned unit, while maintaining professional nursing standards.

HOURS:

Part time, 60 hours per pay period, five 12-hour shifts per pay period. Day shift 6:15 am -6:45 pm., every 3rd weekend and holiday rotation.

QUALIFICATIONS

RN - Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing and must be licensed or eligible in the state of Iowa. Must have excellent computer skills.

PRIMARY PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS :

Must be able to stand for extended periods of time. Must be able to handle frequent interruptions. Must be able to frequently lift over 60 pounds. Must be able to have good visual and auditory skills.
