Compensation & Schedule

šŸ’° Pay Rate: $59/hr šŸØ Per Diem: $140/Day (7 Days Per Week) šŸŽÆ Completion Bonus: $150/month šŸ’µ Pay Frequency: Weekly ā° Schedule: Monday-Friday | Day Shift | 40-60 Hours Per Week šŸ“ˆ Additional Schedule Details: Hours may increase as project activity ramps up and construction milestones are reached.

The Construction Safety Manager will oversee safety performance for the General Contractor and all subcontractors on site while working directly with project leadership, Toyota representatives, supervision, and craft personnel to ensure compliance with project safety requirements.

Required Qualifications

āœ” Previous Toyota Project Experience Required āœ” OSHA 510 Certification Minimum āœ” General Contractor Safety Management Experience Required āœ” Experience Managing Multi-Trade Construction Projects

Preferred Qualifications

⭐ Automotive Manufacturing Construction Experience ⭐ Active Manufacturing Facility Experience ⭐ Large Capital Project Experience ⭐ CHST, ASP, CSP, OHST, STSC, or Other BCSP Credential ⭐ Contractor Safety Management Experience ⭐ Experience Supporting Owner-Driven Safety Programs

What You'll Be Doing

  • Provide daily safety leadership for the General Contractor and all subcontractors on site

  • Maintain a highly visible presence throughout active work areas

  • Conduct routine site inspections, audits, observations, and hazard assessments

  • Monitor civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, and general construction activities

  • Review Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs), Activity Hazard Analyses (AHAs), permits, and pre-task plans

  • Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, Toyota requirements, and project-specific safety standards

  • Identify unsafe conditions and coordinate timely corrective actions

  • Provide field coaching and reinforce safe work practices with craft personnel and subcontractors

  • Coordinate safety activities with project management, supervision, contractors, and owner representatives

  • Participate in incident investigations and corrective action implementation

  • Maintain required safety documentation, inspection records, and compliance reports

  • Promote a proactive safety culture throughout the project

Technical Knowledge
