QA Lead

About the Role

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced QA Lead to drive quality assurance initiatives across multiple projects. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in both Manual and Automation Testing, have prior hands-on testing experience, and demonstrate leadership capabilities in managing QA teams.

This role requires someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, collaborates effectively with cross-functional teams, and leverages modern AI-powered tools to improve testing efficiency and product quality.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and mentor a QA team of 15–20 members, ensuring high-quality deliverables. Plan, manage, and execute QA activities across multiple concurrent projects. Define and implement QA strategies, processes, and best practices. Perform hands-on involvement in both Manual and Automation Testing whenever required. Drive the adoption of AI-powered tools and automation techniques to enhance QA productivity and test coverage.

Collaborate closely with Engineering, Product, Business Analysis, and Project Management teams throughout the software development lifecycle. Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders, providing regular project updates and addressing quality-related concerns. Ensure timely execution of test plans, defect tracking, risk assessment, and release readiness.

Identify process improvement opportunities and continuously enhance QA practices. Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the QA team.

Requirements

Required Skills & Experience Proven experience leading QA teams of approximately 15–20 members. Strong hands-on experience in both Manual Testing and Automation Testing. Practical experience using AI-enabled testing tools and implementing AI-driven QA practices. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with experience in direct client interactions.

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining delivery quality. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Strong ownership mindset with the ability to follow through and ensure timely closure of deliverables. Ability to stay focused on priorities while managing changing business needs.

Confidence to ask the right questions, challenge assumptions constructively, and drive clarity. Positive attitude with a proactive approach to problem-solving. Excellent collaboration skills with the ability to influence and develop future leaders within the team.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working on BFSI (Banking, Financial Services & Insurance) or Life Sciences projects will be an added advantage. Exposure to Agile/Scrum development methodologies. Experience with modern test automation frameworks and CI/CD pipelines.
