Responsibilities

Own and manage the API and integration intake lifecycle, including intake, assessment, prioritization, governance, and execution. Define, implement, and enforce API contract standards and enterprise integration governance frameworks. Design scalable, secure, and reusable integration architectures across multiple business and technology workstreams.

Establish and operationalize synchronous and event-driven integration patterns across the enterprise. Design and implement secure boundary controls to protect sensitive information in non-production environments. Configure, administer, and optimize API gateway and integration orchestration platforms. Design, support, and enhance event streaming solutions using Kafka and AWS MSK.

Contribute to the design and implementation of durable workflow orchestration solutions. Ensure API contracts and integration solutions align with enterprise data architecture and canonical data models. Collaborate with architecture, engineering, data, security, and platform teams to deliver scalable integration solutions.

Provide hands-on technical leadership, architecture guidance, and implementation support to engineering teams. Drive best practices for API security, access control, governance, and lifecycle management. Evaluate and recommend integration technologies, tools, and architectural approaches. Identify and resolve complex technical challenges impacting integration and API delivery.
