Ideal Candidate: ✅ Experienced in fitness equipment repair, electrical, mechanical, or a related trade ✅ Able to work independently & problem-solve with minimal supervision ✅ Committed to professionalism, quality work, and strong customer service ✅ Available during business hours with flexibility for occasional travel ✅ Physically strong & able to lift up to 200 lbs safely ✅ Values-driven & fits well in a structured, professional team culture Position Summary: As a Part-Time or Full-Time Fitness Equipment Installer & Technician (PT Tech), you will be responsible for:
• Repairing, troubleshooting, moving, assembling, and installing fitness equipment.
• Ensuring all equipment is safe, clean, and fully functional.
• Managing service calls & equipment diagnostics independently.
• Providing top-tier customer service at commercial and residential sites.
• Tracking & reporting service work and equipment expenses. This is a hands-on technical role that requires experience, problem-solving skills, and a strong work ethic. Job Requirements ✅ Minimum 2+ years of repair or fitness equipment service experience (mechanical, electrical, or related field). Must be able to work on your own when starting. ✅ Reliable transportation (Truck, SUV, or Van preferred) ✅ High School Diploma or GED ✅ Professional appearance & strong communication skills ✅ Ability to lift 200 lbs & pass an annual PT test ✅ Must pass a background check & drug test (CBD/Marijuana prohibited) ✅ Smoke & vape-free workplace Work Schedule & Pay
• Minimum 15 hours per week available, Monday–Friday (business hours)
• Some Saturday & full days out-of-town work (20% - 30% out of town)
• Pay: $18 - $25 per hour, based on experience after probationary period
• All hires start as contractors for the first 3 months & 200 hours before being considered for employment.
