We’re currently seeking a Brisbane-based Contract Admin Cadet to join GRAYA™. This is an entry-level opportunity for students currently studying Construction Management (or a related discipline) who are looking to build a long-term career in construction delivery. In this role, you’ll gain hands-on experience across key areas of the construction process, supporting live projects through procurement, contract administration, cost planning, programming, quality assurance, and site exposure.
You’ll be guided by experienced project teams, while working through a structured cadet development program designed to build future GRAYA leaders. What You’ll Do Project Exposure & Learning Assist with subcontractor procurement, trade letting, tender comparisons and contract execution Support contract administration including head contract claims, variations, notices of delay and handover documentation Gain exposure to design management, document control and platforms including Procore and Procure Pro Participate in site inductions, SWMS reviews and WHS compliance activities (guided by supervisors) Support quality assurance processes including defect management, ITPs and standards compliance Technical Development Learn the fundamentals of cost planning, estimating and trade package pricing Build programming and scheduling capability using MS Project and look-ahead programs Develop an understanding of building services, structural systems and high-end finishes through real project exposure Professional Development Build communication skills through meeting coordination, minute taking and professional correspondence Develop leadership behaviours through initiative, problem solving and accountability Track progress through structured cadet modules and take ownership of learning goals University Support Work and study concurrently with paid study and exam leave Reimbursement for successfully passed subjects (subject to probation and program commitments) Commit to a minimum 3-year employment pathway with GRAYA upon graduation Requirements What You’ll Bring Currently enrolled in a Construction Management degree (or closely related discipline) Strong academic performance, with the ability to manage study and work commitments A proactive attitude and willingness to learn in a fast-paced construction environment Strong attention to detail and an organised approach to documentation and task management Professional communication skills and the ability to work as part of a high-performing team Mandatory Documents White Card Drivers Licence Benefits Why GRAYA™?
