Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Mankato, MN | Full Time No nights. No weekends. No on-call. $27–$30/hour based on experience, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. This fixed daytime schedule is rare in home care nursing. Support adults with disabilities living in their own homes throughout the Mankato area as an LPN with Harry Meyering Center.

What You'll Do

Provide nursing care and support to individuals in their homes and in the community, in a respectful, person-centered way Administer medications and treatments according to each person's care plan, and track and report any medication errors Train and coach direct support staff on medication administration, CPR, and recognizing signs of illness Keep medical records complete, accurate, and current Communicate with physicians and other providers to relay updates, request orders, and get clarification when needed Step in for hands-on direct care when needed, including help with daily activities, home tasks, and medication administration What You'll Need Required: Current Minnesota LPN license in good standing Valid driver's license and ability to pass a driving record check Ability to pass the Minnesota Department of Human Services Background Study Preferred: Comfort with basic computer programs (Microsoft Office) and willingness to learn digital charting tools Experience in home and community-based services or a similar care setting Pay & Benefits $27–$30/hour, based on experience [pending resolution of the Glassdoor discrepancy noted above] Full-time, 40 hours per week, PTO eligible Health, vision, dental, and accident insurance options Schedule Full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with some flexibility if needed.
