  • Equity Dealer /Analyst Key Responsibilities Investment Research & Analysis
  • Conduct in-depth fundamental research on equities, sectors, and markets, including analysis of financial statements, business models, valuation metrics, and macroeconomic indicators.
  • Prepare financial models, forecasts, and investment notes to support fund managers in portfolio construction and investment decisions.
  • Monitor equity markets and sectors to identify potential investment ideas and flag them to senior team members
  • Track company developments, earnings announcements, corporate actions, and industry trends.
  • Interact with company management, sell-side analysts, and other market participants to gather insights on business performance and investment potential. Equity Dealing & Trade Execution
  • Execute equity trades efficiently and accurately in line with approved investment strategies, IRDAI regulations, and internal policies.
  • Ensure timely placement, modification, and execution of orders while achieving best execution standards.
  • Coordinate closely with fund managers to align trade execution with portfolio objectives and market conditions.
  • Maintain strong working relationships with brokers and counterparties to ensure access to liquidity and market intelligence.
  • Monitor trade confirmations, settlements, and post-trade processes in coordination with mid-office and back-office teams.

Requirements

Key Skills & Competencies

  • Strong understanding of equity markets, valuation techniques, and trading strategies.
  • Practical experience in equity trade execution, order management systems, and post-trade processes.
  • Familiarity with IRDAI investment guidelines and regulatory frameworks (added advantage).
  • Proficiency in financial tools and platforms such as Bloomberg, Excel, and trading systems.
  • High level of analytical rigour with the ability to synthesize research into actionable investment insights.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with fund managers, brokers, and internal teams.
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to work under tight market-driven deadlines Qualifications & Experience/Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Pursuing / completed professional qualifications such as CFA / MBA / FRM will be an advantage
  • Upto 5 years of relevant experience in equity research, investment analysis, equity dealing
  • Experience within insurance sector or other regulated financial institutions is preferred but not mandatory
