Short Term Social Worker - School Based

Full-Time School Social Worker (K–2) – 2026–2027 School Year | Maternity Leave Coverage | Country Club Hills, IL Join a welcoming elementary school community near Country Club Hills, IL, and support some of its youngest learners as a full-time School Social Worker for the 2026–2027 school year. This maternity leave coverage position runs from August 2026 through November 2027, offering stability, purpose, and the chance to make a real impact on early elementary students in the Country Club Hills area.

In this role, you’ll manage a K–2 caseload of approximately 27 students, providing direct and indirect social-emotional support, collaborating closely with teachers and related service providers, and participating in IEP and team meetings. You’ll help students build essential skills in self-regulation, social problem-solving, and overall school adjustment so they can succeed in the classroom and beyond.

You’ll be on-site throughout the school week, partnering with students, families, and staff to identify needs, design interventions, and support a positive school climate. Requirements
