Health Job Description: Pharmacy technicians assist pharmacists in preparing and distributing medications, maintaining the drug inventory, and maintaining patient records.
Pharmacy technicians work only under the supervision of a registered pharmacist. They do not perform duties that can legally be performed only by a registered pharmacist. Pharmacy technicians present completed medications to the pharmacist for verification, routinely interact with patients to ensure quality service and other job duties where applicable.

- Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Required: Applicant must be at least 18 years of age Experience:
- As required by Pharmacy Technician Certification Board for Certification Exam Skills:
- Good verbal and communication skills
- Able to work independently and collaboratively in teams
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Direct customer and patient interactions
- Exhibit problem-solving and organizational skill Licensure/Certification/Registration:
- Required: Must be certified as a Pharmacy Technician through a nationally accredited Pharmacy organization.
- Required: Registered with the Missouri State Board of Pharmacy as a pharmacy technician or application in process upon hire and obtained within 90 days of hire Pharmacy Technician Job Description Education:

- Required: Applicant must be at least 18 years of age Experience:
- No Experience Required Skills:
