Machinist

The Machinist is responsible for executing the machining operation as per routing, machined the part as per engineering drawing, and perform dimension inspection.

• Interpret engineering drawing and geometric dimensioning & tolerancing (GD&T)
• Execute the machining operation as per routing
• Machine the part as per engineering drawing
• Operate CNC machine
• Monitor machining parameter and feedback to programmer if necessary
• Perform dimension inspection
• Perform fixture, tool and part set up
• Maintain the good housekeeping at workplace
• Report all daily activities via MII Systems
• Wearing required PPE while doing the work
• Provide assistance to superior whenever required
• Ensure compliance to all health, safety and environment policies Experience:
• Minimum 3 years hand on experience in operating CNC milling/turning machine
• Able to perform set up operation on CNC machine.
• Able to Interpret CNC program
• Communicate and understand English language
• Able to work shift
• Experience with Siemens, Fanuc and Mazatrol CNC controller
• Forklift driving
• Experience in operating electric pallet truck
• Computer literate: Autocad, CAM software Education:
• Diploma/Trade Certificate in Metal or Precision Engineering
